Friday News 1/8-1/12

We had a great first full week back from Christmas Break! Here's a look at our week:

Reading: We learned how to use clues to draw a conclusion. We practiced drawing conclusions from pictures and from reading passages. On Friday we played a game where we had to answer questions based on the clues given.

Writing: This week we continued writing our poems. We reviewed how to choose a topic, make a list, and turn it in to a poem.

Math: We learned how to add three-digit numbers. We practiced by using our whiteboards, playing bingo, and playing tic-tac-toe.

Bible: This week we learned about some of the miracles of Jesus. We learned about Jesus healing a man with leprosy and how he helped Peter with a miraculous catch of fish.
